8.3 Does Wine support DirectX? Should I install Microsoft's DirectX under Wine?
Wine itself provides a DirectX implementation that, although it has a few bugs left, should run fine. Wine supports DirectX 9.0c at this time. Work on DirectX 10 is underway.
If you attempt to install Microsoft's DirectX, you will run into problems. It is not recommended nor supported by Wine HQ to attempt this. You can install the runtime, but it will not run. The runtime needs access to the Windows drivers, and Wine cannot access them for obvious reasons. The only native Microsoft DLLs that could be useful anyway are the d3dx9_xx.dll type ones, and these require you to accept Microsoft's license. Additionally, versions of these DLLs are now part of the Wine tree. So, as Wine improves these DLLs will only become less relevant.
That said, there are some guides out there which describe how you can install Microsoft's DirectX. We reiterate: it is not recommended nor supported by Wine HQ to attempt this. Furthermore it is considered off topic in Wine HQ support mediums (such as the forums). Please use a clean Wine configuration folder before seeking help (delete your ~/.wine or use another wineprefix and re-install your Windows applications).

If you just have a wrapper/port made by someone else that uses Wineskin, you just delete the application like any other, nothing special needs to be done. Memu for mac.
If you are using Wineskin Winery to create wrappers..
Everything stored from Wineskin Winery is in the following location (~ means your Home folder)
~/Library/Application Support/Wineskin
you can remove that whole folder.
All wrappers are exported to
~/Applications/Wineskin
you can remove that whole folder, but be sure if you want to keep any of your apps you move them out, they will still work fine without Wineskin Winery or anything else still installed.
Remove Wineskin Winery.app in Applications or where ever you put it.
If you used a wrapper that had an ICE version of an engine in it, it is stored locally in ~/Library/Application Support/Wineskin/Engines/ICE so you may want to remove that too.

Wineskin Mac Fix Usb
First of all: Wine (just plain wine) is NOT available for Mac, so that leave you with Wineskin, WineBottler, PlayOnMac, or CrossOver.
Wineskin Mac Fix Disk
Wineskin and WineBottler are intended for creating wrappers, which is basically converting it to a Mac application.
Wineskin gives you more customization over your wrapper.
WineBottler also comes with a system that lets you just run any exe on mac just like that.
PlayOnMac lets you download and run supported apps easily, but isn't good for just any exe.

CrossOver is paid software.
If all you want to do is run exes with right-click>Open With, than install WineBottler.
